About The Position
This position provides teaching assistant support for the ENGINEERING MECHANICS (GNG1105 Section B00) course during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting the course supervisor with laboratory/tutorial sessions, student consultations, marking assignments, and proctoring exams. Specific allocation of hours and duties will be determined by the supervisor. The teaching method is expected to be in-person, though this may change due to health measures.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the subject (Engineering Mechanics).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability in person throughout the course session.
- Availability to proctor the final exam.
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student.
Responsibilities
- Provide teaching assistant support to the course supervisor.
- Conduct LAB/TUT sessions.
- Provide student consultations.
- Mark assignments and exams.
- Proctor exams.
- Complete mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
