About The Position

This position provides teaching assistant support for the course supervisor of MCG43661 Section A00, MGB CAPSTONE PROJECT: PART I. The role involves conducting LAB/TUT sessions, student consultations, marking assignments, and proctoring exams. The allocation of hours and specific duties will be determined by the supervisor. The teaching method is expected to be in-person, but may change due to health measures or other reasons. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

  • Experience in biomedical mechanical design.
  • Expertise in SOLIDWORKS software.
  • Successful completion of MCG4322 or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Availability in person throughout the course session.
  • Availability to proctor the final exam.
