About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the ADV TOPICS MED INFORMATICS course (BMG5111 Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves providing assistance to the course supervisor, engaging in student consultation, marking assignments, and proctoring exams. The teaching method is delivered in person, but may change due to health measures or other reasons. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. Applicants are encouraged to notify the university of any adaptive measures required for the selection process. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Strong knowledge in solid mechanics
- Background in biomedical engineering
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability in person throughout the course session
