About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the CHM2131 LAB section 65H during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting students in and out of the laboratory, marking laboratory reports, giving tutorials, preparing them, and proctoring the final exam. Implementation of Safety Guidelines in the Laboratory is also a key responsibility. Requirements

• Candidate must have 1 full year of general chemistry
• Candidate must have 1 full year of organic chemistry
• Candidate must have completed CHM 2131, CHM 2132, CHM 3140, or CHM 3371 or their equivalents
• Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops
• All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify (unless already done in previous semester)
