About The Position

Teachers at Ladera Ranch KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and collaborate with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Teachers also build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare describes its work as supporting children’s education and helping young learners and their families thrive.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children.
Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents in English.
