About The Position

Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School is recruiting a 4th grade educator to support its vision of providing students with a safe, nurturing environment that immerses them in the arts, grounds them in restorative behaviors, and engages them academically and personally. Grade-level teams collaborate to plan content and develop skills that help students examine themes across subject areas. The school emphasizes educating the whole child and preparing students to create, collaborate, communicate, discover their passions, and innovate through the arts.

Teachers with backgrounds in the arts, project-based learning, social-emotional learning, or STEAM education would be a strong addition. The ideal candidate is familiar with restorative practices, science instruction, and arts integration. Successful candidates should have strong teaching qualities, care deeply for children, and demonstrate effective classroom management and interpersonal skills.
