About The Position
LearnWell is seeking a full-time teacher for the school year in Fargo, North Dakota. The teacher will work in a behavioral health facility, supporting child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting while they receive treatment. Class sizes typically range from 8 to 15 students. The position is a 40-hour-per-week commitment, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The teacher plans and delivers daily lessons, provides individualized academic assistance, communicates about student progress as needed, and adjusts teaching strategies to support student success. The role also maintains accurate attendance and session reports.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
- North Dakota State teaching license.
- Comfort working with K–12 students.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
- Provide individualized academic assistance to students.
- Communicate about student progress as needed.
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
