About The Position

Teachers at West Covina KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that reflect each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare offers career investment and support, and the role contributes directly to children’s learning and development.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children.
Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
