About The Position

Teachers at West Springfield KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide quality care and education, support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare offers career investment and support, and teachers work as part of a team dedicated to helping children reach their potential.

Requirements

Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
Have outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
