About The Position

Teachers at Battle Ground KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide quality care and education, collaborate with center staff and leadership on goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role supports children’s education and development while contributing to the success of the center.

Requirements

• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• Have outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Be able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
