About The Position

Teachers at CDLC of Lincoln Park implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, collaborate with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role offers a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. In Illinois, hourly employees at centers participating in the Illinois Smart Start Workforce Grant receive an additional 15% premium.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
