About The Position

Teachers at UNC Health Johnston implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide quality care and education, collaborate with center staff and leadership to support goals for enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume low-level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children.
Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
