About The Position

Teachers at CDLC School of Cary implement KinderCare’s curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs. They create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn, and partner with parents to provide children with high-quality care and education. Teachers also collaborate with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while building positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role requires working indoors and outdoors and engaging physically with children.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain them.
Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
