About The Position
Celebree School is hiring teachers for toddler, twos, and Pre-K classrooms, as well as for an Office Admin/Teacher hybrid opening. Teachers help shape children’s early development by creating nurturing, enriching environments and providing developmentally age-appropriate experiences. They support classroom aides and help ensure the school’s vision, mission, and values are reflected in daily classroom activities. The Office Admin/Teacher hybrid role requires prior experience with childcare-related software applications and customer service. The role offers training and resources to support classroom work. Hours are Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available.
Requirements
- English language proficiency.
- Meet the governing state agency’s requirements to be a lead teacher.
- Comprehensive knowledge of children’s behavioral and developmental stages.
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
- Ability to manage a classroom.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Patience and flexibility.
- For the Office Admin/Teacher hybrid role: prior experience with childcare-related software applications and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Guide children through daily activities with gentle support.
- Manage classrooms in compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
- Create and implement timely, thorough, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom.
- Complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking accurately.
- Support classroom aides as they develop confidence and skills in early childhood education.
