CDL Truck Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks equipped with front-, side-, or rear-end load lift attachments, depending on the business line and vehicle. They collect waste or recyclable material from commercial, residential, or roll-off customers and transport material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities when the truck reaches legal load capacity. The work may involve maneuvering heavy wheeled containers, navigating congested roads, driveways, alleyways, and lots, and performing skilled backing maneuvers. Roll-off routes may also involve tight overhead environments. Drivers operate in accordance with company safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and applicable laws. They inspect and document vehicle condition, report safety or service issues, complete assigned routes and end-of-day documentation, and communicate customer requests and route hazards to Operations or Dispatch. This is a safety-sensitive role subject to required safety protocols and applicable drug and alcohol testing. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, with starts as early as 3 a.m. and occasional Saturdays. The posting describes the role as home daily and notes that drivers are home at night and on weekends. Pay is listed as $24 per hour.
