About The Position

Teachers at KinderCare support children’s education and development by implementing the company’s curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs. They create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning, partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals. Teachers cultivate positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role requires meeting state-specific qualifications or being willing to obtain them, and being able to meet the physical demands of working with children indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume low-level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children.
Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with them.
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
