About The Position

Teachers at Owings Mills KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that reflect each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide children with high-quality care and education, support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
Have outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
Be able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Be able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Be able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
