About The Position
Teachers at East Ridge KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education and collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals. Teachers also build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare offers career investment and support, with teachers helping children and families while working alongside a dedicated team. The listed pay rate is $16.00 per hour. In Minnesota, an additional $3.00 per hour premium is provided for classroom hours worked through the Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Program.
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
- Ability to assume low-level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children.
- Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
