About The Position

Teachers at KinderCare of Avon implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, work with center staff and leadership to support center goals, and cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role involves supporting children's education and development and helping deliver exceptional experiences for families.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children.
• Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
