About The Position
Teacher will travel to multiple locations within district. In-person, full-time/full-year position. Active Oregon TVI license required. 3 references required before interview. About the Role: Hello TVIs! Come work with a woman and therapist run company doing what you love! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) in the greater Eugene, OR area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
- Active Oregon Special Education Teacher license and TVI certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
