Teacher III Full Time and Part Time
About The Position
The Teacher III is the leader of the teaching team in an early childhood classroom. The role is responsible for the overall development and implementation of the classroom education program and for keeping the classroom compliant with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards, and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards. The posting lists Teacher III qualifications as a master’s or bachelor’s degree with equivalent coursework. It also identifies experience in early childhood classroom management, curriculum planning, and record-keeping as required. Experience working with children with disabilities and computer experience are highly desired.

Responsibilities
- Lead the teaching team in the early childhood classroom.
- Develop and implement the classroom education program.
- Maintain classroom compliance with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards, and NAEYC standards.
