We are seeking a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for flexible, itinerant contract work. AIM offers a collaborative professional community, innovative tools, and steady referral volume from over 200 schools statewide.

Requirements

• Valid Texas educator certification with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
• Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong family engagement and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students across assigned campuses
• Develop instructional plans aligned with curriculum goals, IEPs, and each learner's communication needs
• Apply expertise in hearing aids, cochlear implants, FM/DM systems, and audiogram interpretation
• Communicate audiological information clearly to parents, teachers, and campus staff
• Provide in-service training for mainstream teachers and support personnel
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, related service providers, and school nurses
• Manage scheduling and documentation of services across a multi-campus caseload
