About The Position
This position serves as a Teacher Coach, responsible for developing and maintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. The role also includes Head Baseball Coach duties at Cypress Springs High School. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university.
- Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain a current automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR certificate.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting.
- Experience as a coach in more than one sport.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities.
