About The Position
This position involves teaching and coaching responsibilities, specifically as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Cypress Falls High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role requires developing and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. Regular and reliable attendance is essential. The position is a probationary/term contract for 187 days, with salary based on Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) and an additional athletic stipend as approved.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university.
- Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment.
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain a current automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR certificate.
- Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting preferred.
- Experience as a coach in more than one sport preferred.
