About The Position
Assists teachers in performing their classroom teaching responsibilities. This is a temporary assignment for external applicants only and ends at the end of the 2026–2027 school year. The position is effective for the 2026–2027 school year and is located at Drachman Montessori K-8 Magnet in the 22nd St. and 10th Ave. area. The schedule is 0.75 FTE, six hours per day, on a nine-month work calendar. Positions working fewer than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Posted rates include community-approved override increases guaranteed through June 2031.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an Arizona Department of Education-approved academic assessment test, or an associate degree or higher, or two years (60 semester-hour credits) of post-high-school general education studies.
- One year of experience working with youth.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Before starting, submit a copy of a diploma, transcript, or test results at the time of hire.
- Complete an FBI fingerprint background check before starting.
- Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization, before starting.
