Teacher Assistant One-on-One
About The Position
Triumph supports the education, well-being, and self-sufficiency of young children and their families through high-quality early childhood programs and community engagement. The Teacher Assistant One-on-One provides individual mental health and disability services and interventions to an enrolled child with special needs. The role supports implementation of curriculum activities and materials in accordance with Individualized Education and/or Behavior Plans, assists with and models behavior management techniques including Conscious Discipline, and helps teachers create an inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children under five who have complex needs.
- Ability to work sensitively and effectively with young children with varied physical and emotional capabilities and diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to learn and implement the Conscious Discipline approach.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree with ECE Preschool Certification.
- English-speaking applicants with Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian-Creole bilingual skills are encouraged to apply.
