About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, reliable Caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Caregivers provide companionship and emotional support, assist with personal care and daily living needs, prepare meals, give medication reminders, perform light housekeeping and laundry, run errands and grocery shop, and provide transportation to appointments. They also complete care documentation using a smartphone.

Requirements

• Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Active automobile insurance required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for documentation and clocking in and out.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with seniors or disabled adults preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
