About The Position

Assists the Early Childhood Teacher with day-to-day activities. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Florida Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or an associate’s degree or higher. Additional continuing education mandated by the program’s funding source must be completed within the required timeframe to maintain active employment. Requirements

• High school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved GED Testing Program, and a valid State of Florida Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent certification in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards; alternatively, an associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
• Complete any additional continuing education mandated by the program’s funding source within the required timeframe to remain actively employed.
