About The Position
The Teacher Assistant-Early Childhood Ed assists the Early Childhood Teacher with day-to-day activities. The position is located at Tedder Elementary in Pompano Beach and follows a 189-day work calendar. New hires will be hired at the minimum of the assigned salary range.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program, and a valid State of Florida Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent certification in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards; or an associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Obtain any additional hours of continuing education mandated by the program funding source within the required time frame to remain actively employed.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
