About The Position

Associated Students Inc., CSUF provides student development opportunities through leadership, volunteer, and employment experiences. In addition, the Associated Students provides campus community members with important social, cultural, and recreational opportunities, as well as, a wide range of programs and services. The TBB Lead Desk Attendant is responsible for monitoring and supporting all reservations booked through the University Conference Center and Titan Bowl & Billiards.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled California State University Fullerton student in good academic standing
  • Must receive First Aid/CPR/AED Lay Responder Certification within 3 months of hire
  • Must complete: Bloodborne Pathogens, Campus Health and Safety Requirements, CSU’S Discrimination Harassment Prevention Program, Data Security and FERPA, Gender Equity and Title IX, Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process reservation requests from campus departments, private faculty/student/staff, off-campus clients, and student organizations utilizing appropriate forms and Event Management Software (EMS).
  • Assist potential clients with open dates for reservations and ensure information is relayed to TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Answer telephone, email and walk-in inquiries regarding reservation and availability, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.
  • Review Sales Summary reports for the previous day(s). Compare credit card transaction reports and report any discrepancies to TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Process payments for client reservations and events via Brunswick Sync and TBB payment links.
  • Offer suggestions for potential purchases (e.g., console games, cleaning supplies, etc.) to support operations.
  • Assist with gathering information or providing input for the annual budget, as directed by the TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Lead monthly safety tailgate trainings – determine topics, prepare and deliver material.
  • Assist in the hiring process, training, and supervision for student staff.
  • Review notable events/reservations with Desk Attendant staff to ensure all events are setup accordingly in coordination with the TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Send out shift schedule to TBB Desk Attendants in coordination with the TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Meet weekly with the TBB & Esports Coordinator to discuss weekly job tasks, and help create/update training materials for student staff.
  • Assist TBB & Esports Coordinator in leading TBB staff meetings.
  • Assist with TBB and Esports program development.
  • Assist with assessment of existing programs, working with TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Provide new ideas regarding procedures to TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Assists with equipment setup and AV setup for client events as necessary.
  • Clear minor bowling malfunctions.
  • Report broken furniture, general safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to TBB & Esports Coordinator.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Must adhere to and assist in the enforcement of the policies and procedures of the University, the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., and the Titan Student Union.
  • Other duties as assigned.
