About The Position

Workforce Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing Florida CPA firm to hire Tax Managers for onsite roles at its Boca Raton or Miami offices. Tax Managers are part of the business tax team and manage client relationships while ensuring final annual tax products and monthly financial work are prepared and delivered to clients within expected timelines. The role includes reviewing and preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports, as well as corporate and individual tax returns. Managers build and strengthen client relationships, develop basic knowledge of clients’ businesses, communicate and meet with clients as requested, and provide recommendations to address clients’ financial or tax needs. The firm describes its schedule as approximately 50 hours per week during tax busy season, January through May, and a typical 40-hour week for the rest of the year. The firm offers onsite and hybrid work arrangements and states that relocation packages allow employees to work remotely during their transition to the area.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly desired, or equivalent work experience.
CPA certification is highly desired, or the ability to attain it.
