About The Position

Hantz Group is a Michigan-based financial company and Family Office serving individuals and businesses. The Tax Associate is an entry-level role integrated into the Family Office, working closely with CPAs, accountants, financial advisors, and other specialists. The position supports proactive tax strategy and planning by analyzing clients’ tax situations, preparing tax projections and returns, and collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for clients.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Highly motivated and self-starting.
• Strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to obtain an Enrolled Agent designation.
• Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
