About The Position

The company provides services to individuals and businesses through teams of specialists who collaborate to support clients’ financial goals.

The Tax Associate is an entry-level role integrated into the Family Office. The associate works closely with CPAs, accountants, financial advisors, and the Tax Team, gaining knowledge of tax accounting and its relationship to financial services. The role includes analyzing tax liabilities, preparing tax projections and returns, and collaborating with other specialists to identify client opportunities. Hantz Group describes its tax-planning approach as proactive, involving year-round monitoring and projections before preparation of clients’ final tax returns.

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to obtain an Enrolled Agent designation.
• Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
