About The Position

Hantz Group is a Michigan-based financial company and Family Office that provides services to individuals and businesses. The Tax Associate is an entry-level position integrated into the Family Office. The associate works closely with CPAs, accountants, financial advisors, and other specialists to broaden their knowledge of tax accounting and its relationship to financial services. The role includes analyzing taxes, preparing projections and returns, and collaborating with other specialists to identify opportunities for clients. Hantz Group describes its tax approach as proactive, monitoring clients’ tax situations throughout the year and providing projections before final tax-return preparation.

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to obtain an Enrolled Agent designation.
• Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities
