CORP - TASK FORCE GENERAL MANAGER

Twenty Four Seven HotelsIrvine, CA
$90,000 - $100,000Remote

About The Position

Some hotel leaders build success at one property. This role is for an experienced hotel operator who can enter an unfamiliar environment, earn credibility quickly, diagnose the real operational and financial issues, align competing stakeholders, and leave the hotel stronger than they found it. 24Seven Hotels is seeking an accomplished Task Force Director / General Manager to take full interim accountability for assigned hotels and provide hands-on operational leadership across our portfolio. You will lead through transitions, stabilize performance, execute high-priority projects, and help hotel teams deliver stronger financial results, memorable guest experiences, brand compliance, and an engaging workplace. This is a highly visible, travel-intensive opportunity for a credible hotel operator who thrives on variety, moves confidently through ambiguity, and turns assessment into action. Success requires balancing urgent property needs with established decision authority, communicating candidly with corporate and ownership stakeholders, escalating risks promptly, and remaining accountable for results throughout each assignment.

Requirements

  • At least five years of General Manager experience in premium-branded hotels.
  • A demonstrated record of improving profitability, flow-through, labor productivity, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and associate engagement, with the ability to explain the actions taken and results achieved.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions at pace.
  • A calm, respectful, and decisive leadership style that builds trust across hotel, corporate, ownership, and brand relationships.
  • Comfort working across hotel systems and tools, including PMS and revenue platforms, Medallia, Quore, ProfitSage, and related hospitality technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with turnarounds, transitions, openings, renovations, stabilization, task force, regional, or multi-property leadership strongly preferred.
  • Marriott experience strongly preferred; experience with Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, or other major brands is also valued.

  • Step into assigned hotels as an interim operational leader, quickly assess conditions, establish priorities, and create a practical path forward.
  • Stabilize performance across operations, financial results, guest experience, brand compliance, associate engagement, safety, and owner commitments.
  • Translate data into action by using operating statements, labor and STR reports, guest feedback, audits, and performance metrics to identify root causes and improve results.
  • Lead transitions, openings, renovations, repositioning efforts, due diligence, audits, and other strategic assignments while keeping hotel operations moving.
  • Build trust with hotel teams through visible leadership, clear expectations, recognition, coaching, and constructive accountability.
  • Strengthen staffing and leadership capability by identifying development needs, supporting high-potential talent, and building bench strength.
  • Keep owners and corporate partners informed with candid updates on progress, priorities, risks, opportunities, and next steps.
  • Close each assignment with documented results, unresolved risks, and a clear handoff that supports lasting success.
