About The Position
PSC Group is seeking a licensed Tank Barge Person in Charge (PIC) to serve in a vital role in the nation’s petroleum and chemical shipping industry. The position requires a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with a Tank Barge PIC (DL) endorsement. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.
Requirements
- Current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC (DL) endorsement
- Current TWIC card and valid driver’s license, with reliable transportation and telephone
- At least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Able to wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Tank Barge PIC
- Previous military experience and a proven ability to follow procedures
