About The Position

Austin Industries is seeking a temporary Talent Sourcer/Recruiter for its corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial for sourcing and attracting top talent for various corporate functions, including accounting and IT, as well as some construction field roles. The position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills, with a focus on identifying and engaging top talent through effective sourcing methodologies. This role is 100% onsite and is a temporary assignment expected to last until early October 2026.

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience recruiting salaried professionals.
  • Proficiency to implement new, innovative methods for sourcing talent.
  • Capability to drive direct sourcing strategies to reduce reliance on contingent placement firms.
  • Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong networking abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • 4-year degree preferred or combined higher education with relevant work experience.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, various sourcing tools, job boards, and knowledgeable in Boolean search techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of UKG/Ultipro Recruiting or similar ATS.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high degree of customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Construction/Maintenance industry highly preferred.
  • AIRS training/certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal hiring managers and recruiters to understand business needs, role requirements, and candidate profiles to define candidate identification strategies.
  • Build sourcing plans in collaboration with hiring managers and recruiters to streamline processes.
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing efforts and innovative outreach programs to attract talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to establish diverse talent pipelines for current and future roles.
  • Effectively assess candidates/prospects against requirements to ensure high-quality candidate submissions to hiring teams.
  • Provide detailed candidate summaries to recruiters and hiring managers during candidate submissions.
  • Maintain effective communication with candidates, prospects, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • Complete required reporting to track progress and participate in status meetings with key business partners/stakeholders.
  • Share industry insights, recruitment best practices, and new sourcing tools to optimize talent attraction strategies.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
