About The Position

FreedomCare Ohio is building a talent pool of strong customer service professionals for upcoming opportunities. The company is searching for talented and motivated individuals interested in roles such as HomeCare Sales Specialist I, Intake Specialist I, Onboarding Specialist I, and Care Support Specialist I. These roles involve connecting with people, educating them on home care support and enrollment processes, guiding them through onboarding, and supporting their home care journey. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, communication, soft skills, problem-solving abilities, time management, technology proficiency, and multitasking capabilities. These are hybrid positions requiring employees to commute to the FreedomCare Ohio office three days per week. This is a Pipeline Talent Pool requisition, and candidates will be contacted once new job opportunities become available.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations, empathize with customers, and solve problems.

  • Ability to provide empathy and compassion to patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Connect and engage with people interested in home care support for themselves or a loved one.
  • Educate patients and caregivers and assist them with the application and enrollment process of supported programs.
  • Complete the eligibility process and onboard patients and caregivers.
  • Guide patients and caregivers through the onboarding process of joining FreedomCare.
  • Conduct virtual or in-person orientations.
  • Guide patients and caregivers through their home care journey.
  • Ensure patients receive the care they need and feel heard and cared for.
  • Handle a high-volume inbound and outbound queue.
  • Resolve issues over the telephone with customers, defusing and de-escalating frustrated callers.
  • Leverage technology and resolve customer issues efficiently while notetaking/multitasking.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities and priorities while assisting patients and caregivers.
