About The Position
Wilfrid Laurier University is seeking talented individuals for its Talent Pathways Temporary Pool at the Milton campus. This pool is designed for future vacancies and offers opportunities for casual, temporary work. Temporary assignments are ideal for exploring new career paths, developing existing skills, and getting to know the university. These assignments are needed during periods of temporary rush, for special projects, or to cover for absent employees. Assignments could be in various departments including Administration, Business Development, Communications, Data Entry/Analysis, Financial Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, Office Management, Project Coordination, Customer Service, and Retail Operations. Work assignments are not guaranteed on an ongoing basis and are for a maximum of 70 working days.
Requirements
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask, prioritize and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Perform duties related to temporary assignments in areas such as Administration, Business Development, Communications, Data Entry/Analysis, Financial Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, Office Management, Project Coordination, Customer Service, and Retail Operations.
- Bring diverse perspectives, skills, and lived experiences to the Laurier Community.
- Fulfill needs during periods of temporary rush, for special assignments, or when replacements are needed for absent employees.
