About The Position

The Talent Manager for Employee Relations serves as a strategic partner and subject-matter expert in fostering a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive workplace. This role oversees key employee relations programs and leads initiatives that support organizational culture, employee well-being, and effective labor-management relationships. The Talent Manager provides guidance to leaders and employees, ensures consistent application of policies, and manages assigned workforce programs with a focus on fairness, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or public administration, or related field.
  • At least five (5) years of human resource management experience, program administration, and/or managerial capacity.
  • Knowledge of human resources principles and practices, with experience in recruitment, performance management, employee development, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding employment, compensation, labor, and benefit and pension programs.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Windows-based business software applications.
  • Skill and ability to prepare, interpret, and understand legal, financial, and technical reports, research papers, and documents.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to draft, proof, and construct professional documents and correspondence.
  • Effective organizational skills including ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and adaptability to changing priorities to meet demands of the business.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relations with elected, appointive, midmanagement, and hourly employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of the Human Resources department.
