About The Position

The Talent Manager leads talent acquisition and talent management strategies that attract, develop, and retain high-performing employees while supporting the organization's workforce planning and business objectives. In this role, you serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, employer branding, recruiting operations, workforce planning, and talent management, driving programs that strengthen the employee experience and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of professional recruiting experience, including at least 5 years supporting life sciences, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing a talent acquisition function.
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and passive candidate engagement using modern recruiting technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies, managing external recruiting partners, and building talent pipelines across multiple business functions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience analyzing recruiting metrics and using data to drive process improvements and business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes talent acquisition strategies that attract high-quality candidates while optimizing time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and overall recruiting effectiveness.
  • Leads full-cycle recruitment efforts for professional, technical, manufacturing, and corporate positions while ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Builds and maintains talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles through proactive sourcing, networking, and recruiting technologies.
  • Manages talent acquisition programs, including employee referrals, campus recruiting, internship and co-op programs, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Oversees relationships with external recruiting partners, search firms, contract recruiters, job boards, and other talent sourcing vendors.
  • Develops and delivers interview training and selection best practices for hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Ensures consistent employer branding and recruitment messaging across all candidate-facing channels.
  • Analyzes recruiting metrics, hiring trends, turnover data, and candidate feedback to provide actionable insights and recommendations to HR and business leadership.
  • Partners with Human Resources to support workforce planning, employee engagement, learning and development, succession planning, performance management, and retention initiatives.
  • Supports company compensation practices, including pay transparency initiatives, in alignment with organizational philosophy and applicable legal requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve recruiting processes, systems, and talent programs to enhance operational effectiveness and candidate experience.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
