About The Position

In this role, you’ll play a key part in how we develop our talent and shape the employee experience across learning programs, early‑career development, recognition, onboarding, and employee listening. The Talent Management Specialist is a unique role on our HR team, reporting to the Director of Talent & Employee Experience and partnering closely with HR Business Partners and leaders across the enterprise. We believe the best talent and experience programs are built through real partnership, learning our business, listening to our people, and turning insight into action. You’ll have the opportunity to bring ideas to life through meaningful programs and join a collaborative HR team that’s passionate about helping people and the business grow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience, either as an HR Business Partner or supporting learning, talent, or employee experience programs
  • Experience designing and facilitating engaging adult learning across in‑person, virtual, and self‑paced formats
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs, timelines, and partners at once
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to flex your style—from welcoming new hires to working with senior leaders
  • Comfort working with HR systems and data, and curiosity to use insights and feedback to improve programs
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion when working with confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and an eagerness to learn new HR platforms
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%) for programs, campus events, and team gatherings

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field
  • HR or learning certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, ATD CPTD, DDI, Gallup, etc.)
  • Hands-on LMS configuration experience and familiarity with engagement, listening, or recognition platforms
  • A background in early career or rotational programs, or in a global / multi-site organization
  • Exposure to instructional design tools

Responsibilities

  • Build and facilitate internal training, manage our LMS, and partner with leaders and subject matter experts to build content that actually changes how people work.
  • Facilitate our Summer Internship Program and Pathways Development Program and support the delivery of manager development experiences that prepare leaders to grow great teams.
  • Shape the everyday employee experience through our recognition program, a welcoming onboarding journey, and employee listening that helps us keep getting better, together.
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, performance, and goal-setting cycles that move our business forward.
  • Use participant feedback, program data, and partner insights to continuously evolve our programs and raise the bar on what we deliver.
  • Leverage Scoular’s employer brand to champion the stories and communications that bring our culture and values to life across the employee journey.
