About The Position

This role focuses on managing and resolving complex employee relations matters, recruitment, and other human resources generalist duties. The specialist will utilize their skills to build trust, manage sensitive information, and contribute to the organization's talent acquisition and employee engagement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive human resources generalist experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Customer-service orientation with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education or other mission-driven, service-focused settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of PeopleAdmin ATS and Ellucian Banner systems.
  • Training in conflict resolution, performance coaching, or employee engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with EEO, ADA, and other employment-related compliance requirements.
