Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program and pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business or another related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing, with candidates, third-parties, and all levels of company staff.
  • Professional, customer-focused attitude and a strong understanding of confidentiality.
  • Highly-motivated self-starter with strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to support multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines with both local and remote staff.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning, actively seeking out opportunities to acquire new skills and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams across and at all levels of the organization.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters’ level student in the disciplines of Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business or another related field.
  • Experience working in a corporate setting within Human Resources with demonstrated success meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Talent Development team.
  • Assist with job requisition maintenance, reporting, and tracking.
  • Support the maintenance of Early Career program calendars, session schedules, participant rosters, and attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate workshop and program logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and participant communications.
  • Draft program communications, including reminders, confirmations, and follow-up messages.
  • Assist with the development of training materials, presentations, and slide decks.
  • Use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to prepare documents, presentations, reports, and tracking materials as requested.
  • Support On/Off Track reporting, survey synthesis, feedback collection, and data evaluation.
  • Gather and summarize feedback, notes, and insights from program sessions and meetings.
  • Work closely with assigned mentor and attend regularly scheduled one-on-one meetings to provide updates on projects.
  • Follow weekly internship schedule as set by department supervisor and assigned mentor.
  • May perform additional functions depending on business needs and staffing levels to support consistent, quality service.
