About The Position

The Talent Coordinator supports Wellness Equity Alliance’s talent acquisition efforts by coordinating full-cycle recruitment for assigned clinical, public and behavioral health, community-based, administrative, and operational positions. Working with People & Culture leadership and hiring managers, the coordinator sources candidates, reviews applications, conducts initial screenings, coordinates interviews, maintains accurate records in Paylocity, and supports approved offers and pre-employment onboarding. The role provides a responsive, respectful candidate experience and keeps recruitment activities organized, timely, and consistent with approved hiring practices. The coordinator manages assigned recruitment activities within approved requisitions, compensation ranges, and hiring procedures. Final selection and other decisions reserved for designated organizational decision makers remain outside the coordinator’s authority; concerns should be escalated to the appropriate People & Culture, occupational health, credentialing, or clinical leader. This is a temporary, full-time hourly, non-exempt assignment scheduled for 40 hours per week, with potential—but not guaranteed—conversion to permanent employment. The hybrid arrangement requires two days per week in the Boyle Heights, California office, with remaining scheduled work performed remotely. Occasional recruitment events or interviews outside normal business hours may be assigned and are paid working time. Overtime should be approved in advance under organizational policy, and all hours worked must be reported and compensated. Work is primarily performed in an office or remote setting using a computer, telephone, and virtual meeting platforms. Occasional attendance at recruitment events or organizational sites may be required. The role requires careful handling of confidential information, accurate records, sustained attention to detail, communication, and coordination of multiple schedules.
