POSITION SUMMARY Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy experienced Talent Administrator, to support the day-to-day operational backbone of our recruiting function in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role keeps our hiring engine running smoothly, from requisition management and candidate coordination to ATS data integrity and compliance documentation, so our recruiters and hiring managers can focus on finding and closing top talent. You'll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR compliance to ensure every step of the hiring process is accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support, ideally within a technical, engineering, or aerospace environment.
  • Experience supporting talent programs (performance management, workforce planning, org design) in an administrative capacity.
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting logistics alongside talent program administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems, Workday, preferred.
  • Experience in start-up environment, preferred.
  • SPHR, or SHRM-SCP or PHR, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a talent administrator, providing consultative guidance, independent judgment, and data-informed recommendations that align people strategies with business priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday (or comparable HCM platform) data entry, report running, workflow processing.
  • Comfort with Excel for data reconciliation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with technical competency frameworks, translating engineering skill taxonomies into HR systems (Workday Skills Cloud, Percipio content mapping).
  • Ability to pull, clean, and format workforce data for leadership review.
  • Process VOE requests, including DoD VOE forms and employee-initiated requests requiring additional information beyond standard verification.
  • Experience maintaining data integrity across HR systems (org charts, job codes, comp bands, headcount).
  • Experience creating and posting job requisitions in an ATS (Workday Recruiting preferred).
  • Ability to partner with HR Business Partners and recruiters to translate role needs into accurate, compliant job postings (job codes, comp bands, EEO classifications).
  • Familiarity with requisition approval workflows and headcount tracking against approved plans.
  • Understanding of ITAR/export-control considerations in job postings and candidate screening for cleared or export-controlled roles.
  • Initiate, track, and process employee and candidate background checks, coordinating with vendors and flagging discrepancies or adjudication needs to HR leadership.
  • Comfort building basic dashboards or recurring reports (attrition, time-to-fill, skills gaps, training completion).
  • Experience coordinating talent review cycles, calibration sessions, or performance review logistics.
  • Strong follow-through on multi-stakeholder processes (scheduling, tracking approvals, chasing inputs).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
