Location: Palo Alto office preferred; Remote may be considered for the right candidate Employment Type: 4-6 month contract Department: People & Culture / Talent Acquisition About the Role We are looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist specializing in Finance recruiting to join our Talent Acquisition team and help us identify, attract, and hire high-caliber Finance talent. This role will be responsible for managing the full recruiting lifecycle for Finance positions, partnering closely with Finance leaders and hiring managers to understand business needs, build effective sourcing strategies, and deliver a strong candidate experience. The ideal candidate is a highly hands-on recruiter who knows how to find Finance talent, move quickly, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and manage multiple searches simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition/recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting Finance professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for roles ranging from individual contributors through Finance leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting functions and the talent profiles associated with them.
  • Proven sourcing skills, particularly for passive and hard-to-find candidates.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to build credibility with senior Finance leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recruiting outcomes.
  • Experience with an ATS (Rippling preferred)

  • Experience recruiting within a high-growth technology, SaaS, AI, or similarly fast-paced environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned Finance positions in the US, from intake through offer and close.
  • Partner with Finance leaders and hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, interview processes, and hiring priorities.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill Finance positions.
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, recruiting platforms, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidates against defined competencies and role requirements.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely movement through the interview process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to calibrate candidate quality and make data-driven recruiting decisions.
  • Manage offer development, closing, and candidate negotiations in partnership with Compensation and HR as appropriate.
  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to Finance leadership.
  • Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation, candidate expectations, and competitive hiring dynamics.
  • Challenge hiring requirements when appropriate and help managers distinguish between must-have and preferred qualifications.
  • Establish clear recruiting plans, timelines, and sourcing strategies for each search.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and proactively communicate recruiting risks or challenges.
  • Deliver a high-touch, professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Represent the company's culture, values, employee experience, and career opportunities authentically.
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates, including those who may not be the right fit for an immediate opening but could be valuable for future opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information in the ATS.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill, and other recruiting metrics.
  • Maintain organized pipelines and talent pools for recurring Finance hiring needs.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the recruiting process and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with the broader TA team to continuously improve sourcing strategies, interview processes, and candidate experience.
