As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will have a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in recruiting to help our team attract top talent for a wide variety of corporate and manufacturing roles in Canada and the United States. This role is hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and is an 18 month contract (in Montreal (Saint-Laurent).

Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of talent acquisition experience, including significant experience in a corporate recruiting environment (Note: Agency experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Recruiting experience with Manufacturing, IT and Finance roles
  • Written and verbal fluency in French and English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems as well as sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter

Responsibilities

  • Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end hiring process various positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Conduct intake meetings and maintain ongoing communication to understand role requirements and provide updates on candidate progress.
  • Source Candidates: Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, and other tools to identify and engage potential candidates for open roles.
  • Screen and Assess Applicants: Review resumes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates against job qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate Interview Processes: Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and facilitate debriefs with hiring teams.
  • Maintain ATS Records: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all candidate activity in our Dayforce applicant tracking system
  • Support Recruitment Marketing and Branding: Promote open roles through social media and other channels to enhance the employer brand and attract talent.
