About The Position

VSE is seeking a Mid Talent Acquisition Specialist to support all aspects of recruiting for a multi-sector organization with commercial and government contracts. The role develops candidate pipelines and recruits for a range of positions across VSE Corporation. The specialist must adapt to a dynamic environment, navigate a multi-tiered national and international organization, and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. The position is based in Dallas, Texas, and is full-time on the first shift.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or three additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
• Four years of recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OFCCP, FLSA, SCA, and general employment law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Excel and Teams.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Selected applicant must undergo a background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process to meet staffing goals across organizational levels.
• Develop relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders.
• Work with hiring managers to maximize the effectiveness of the recruiting process.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies using available tools and online job boards.
• Build candidate pipelines for high-turnover roles.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Understand EEO, FLSA, and OFCCP requirements.
• Support and promote VSE Corporation’s recruitment, retention, and development programs.
• Perform miscellaneous assigned duties.
