About The Position

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Recruiter to join our rapidly growing team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers to select candidates to fill high-volume government contracting positions located throughout the United States and overseas.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of government contracting recruiting experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other candidate search technology.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Familiarity with OFCCP guidelines for recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and uses the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to identify and draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on open positions, industry standards, and the contract.
  • Sources passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter and other creative methods and establishes networking relationships with a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates; schedules interviews.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with program managers and senior leadership team.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all candidates at every stage of the pipeline following OFCCP recruiting guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, company policies, and OFCCP guidelines.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
